Geoscience is, in simpler terms, the study of the Earth. Geoscience can be broken into three majors: geology, geography, and Earth sciences. Geoscience is the umbrella term for fields that study the Earth. Geology and Geography are some of the other careers also seen on this site.

The geoscience career has a wide range of applicability. A geoscience degree can take you out in the field, doing hands on work across the globe.
